What to Expect in an Immigration Evaluation
- Sessions: Two 1-hour virtual sessions with the client and counselor
- Preparation: Clients receive a list of questions prior to the first session to help them prepare
- Comprehensive Reports: Each 10–12 page report includes:
- Case summary with client history
- Evaluation of current functioning and credibility
- Reports of self-assessments completed by the client
- Any evidence provided for corroboration
- Possible impact if the case is denied
- Recommendations
- Assessment Process: Documenting, assessing, diagnosing, providing evidence, predicting prognosis, offering recommendations, and explaining emotional/affective impacts of outcomes
- Attorney Communication: Will communicate directly with the attorney or attorney’s office
- Turnaround Time: Standard delivery within 2-4 weeks; rush reports under 2 weeks for an additional fee
